Ask the wiki

Use this tool to locate and synthesise material already published in the Regulation 28 Digital Safety wiki. It searches the public site in your browser, sends the question and up to six retrieved excerpts to a protected Cloudflare Pages Function, and returns a Workers AI answer with numbered links to the retrieved pages.

Boundary

The answer is generated navigation and synthesis—not source evidence, clinical or legal advice, a coronial finding, proof of harm caused by a product, or a validated Defence requirement. Check the retrieved wiki pages and their linked primary sources. Do not enter patient-identifiable, operationally sensitive, classified or otherwise non-public information.

The password is sent only in the x-ask-wiki-password request header over HTTPS for one question. The field is cleared after every submission, whether the request succeeds or fails. The page does not create a login session or write the password to local storage, session storage or a cookie.

How an answer is produced

  1. The browser performs a bounded lexical search over Zensical's published search index.
  2. The Function derives an HMAC from the submitted password using a server-only 64-character verifier key and compares it with the configured verifier in constant time. It then applies request and inference limits and passes only the question plus retrieved excerpts to Workers AI.
  3. The model is instructed to preserve the project's authority distinctions and to say when the excerpts are insufficient.
  4. The interface renders the answer as plain text and separately links every retrieved page. Follow those pages to the registered primary evidence before relying on a claim.

The application creates no answer history or user database. Cloudflare still processes the request as part of Pages Functions and Workers AI operation; therefore only public, non-sensitive material belongs in a question.
