This log records renderer, navigation, build, service and generated-tooling changes. Research, source-verification and analytical changes belong in the research change record.

14 July 2026

  • Confirmed Zensical 0.0.50 and its strict-build/additional-asset configuration.
  • Instantiated the wiki structure, verification chain, generated discovery and graph publication workflow.
  • Registered the always-on regulation-28-wiki development service at 127.0.0.1:8000, installed its per-user LaunchAgent and verified automatic restart.
  • Iterated header contrast, search contrast, responsive width and nested navigation after browser review.
  • Trialled and removed top-level tabs, introduced explicit Overview children and tested integrated page headings.
  • Recreated and refined a purple Material-derived navigation treatment in Zensical.

  • Froze the customised purple interface as a non-production sunset profile.
  • Returned the always-on site to Zensical's runtime-default chrome and retained only graph-scoped production assets.
  • Added strict profile isolation checks and independent production/sunset builds.
  • Reworked the information architecture around the evidence base, findings, Defence application, methods and outputs; introduced generated report records and domain traceability.
  • Replaced repository-shaped top-level navigation with a reader-task hierarchy and retained the repository graph under About and tools.
  • Added deterministic generators and freshness checks for the full report catalogue/evidence map and for the human-readable Defence requirement/test views.
  • Expanded LLM discovery metadata to identify content type, authority role, audience, status, tags and stable evidence/requirement identifiers.
  • Removed focusability from decorative nodes inside the repository graph's accessibility-hidden SVG; the labelled graph container remains the single image-semantic element.
  • Added collapsed text alternatives for the displayed nodes and relationships in both repository-graph projections.
  • Added row-level official-response provenance: 35 distinct attachments are registered across 18 reports, with source-specific support limits and no inference of implementation.
  • Added a mechanically checked 379-row 2018 publication-cohort manifest recovered from the exact hashed working index and extraction artefacts; distinguished complete enumeration/extraction from the incomplete retained disposition trail.
  • Added semantic claim-to-requirement validation, including explicit partial-scope labels where the Defence control extends beyond the cited case claims.
  • Completed a current browser pass of the stock profile across desktop and narrow layouts, including search, nested navigation, tables, Mermaid, keyboard focus and graph alternatives; no console errors or page-level horizontal overflow were observed.
  • Regenerated all discovery and analytical views, completed strict production/sunset builds, restarted the LaunchAgent-backed development service and confirmed HTTP 200 at port 8000.
  • Added a nested Outputs → Thematic analysis section in both stock and sunset navigation profiles, with a two-page clinical/patient-safety and DMICP outline plus a routing overview.
  • Verified the new output in the live stock profile at desktop and narrow viewports: nested navigation and both page sections render, wide tables remain locally scrollable, the page has no document-level horizontal overflow, and the browser console is clean. Restarted and rechecked the LaunchAgent-backed development service.

17 July 2026

  • Added an isolated Standard/Wide width switch to the production Zensical header. Standard remains the renderer default; Wide expands the shared grid with one-rem desktop gutters, persists locally in the browser and does not alter narrow layouts or the frozen sunset profile. Matched the switch radius to Search, aligned the desktop site title with the article rail while retaining the logo's outer-rail position, and aligned Search with the page-outline text rail. Verified the desktop interaction, reload persistence, reset, hidden narrow control, absence of page-level horizontal overflow and clean console against the always-on service.

20 July 2026

  • Added reproducible Cloudflare Pages publication from verified, clean GitHub main, with pinned Wrangler, repository-owned Pages configuration, deployment documentation and source/deployment consistency guards compatible with the colocated Jujutsu working copy.
  • Added the bounded /api/ask Pages Function, Workers AI binding and content-scoped Ask interface. Static routes remain excluded from Function invocation, model and request limits are fixed, responses are no-store, and the published search index remains the only retrieval corpus.
  • Published and verified the production Wide control and Ask assets that had previously existed only in local work, while preserving the frozen sunset profile and stock Zensical production chrome.

21 July 2026

  • Replaced the retained access-key field with a per-question password interaction. The client clears the field after every submission, creates no login session, browser-storage entry or cookie, and rejects malformed success responses instead of presenting them as generated answers.
  • Replaced direct shared-secret comparison with a fail-closed HMAC-SHA-256 verifier using a separate 64-character server-only pepper and configured digest. Added automated missing-configuration, rejection, inference-boundary, legacy-header and client-clearing checks.

  • Added the single-page Executive summary under Home, covering legal/evidence boundaries, corpus status, supplied-document reconciliation, findings, Defence translation, provenance and open assurance work.
  • Regenerated the expanded 112-report evidence base and published the current response-source mappings, review counts, navigation and discovery outputs.

  • Replaced the capped 80-node spiral and offset pseudo-3D repository graphs with a mature same-data Graphify publication: one complete enriched dataset, a searchable/filterable 2D renderer with responsive controls and a genuine force-directed 3D renderer.
  • Added stable named communities and Markdown, source-reference, navigation, filesystem and explicit file-reference relationships. Added self-ingestion prevention, summary/integrity/freshness metadata and exact 2D/JSON parity checks; retained the technical/non-evidence boundary.
  • Added a glossary, grouped Methods and ICMM navigation, generated response-evidence and finding-to-requirement-to-test routes, clickable mechanism links through generated views, and visible publication-output cut-offs.
  • Expanded the evidence-page generator with a corpus profile, assurance/uncertainty dashboard, counter-position register, data/citation checksums, per-mechanism membership lists and report-footer routes.
  • Added a generated selection/coverage flow, grouped-section overview pages and a narrower, finding-section Defence crosswalk; preserved production/sunset navigation parity.
  • Excluded legacy compatibility routes from Ask-the-Wiki retrieval so canonical Findings, Methods and Defence pages rank ahead of “has moved” pages.
  • Added reader-facing governance/privacy/corrections and data/citation routes without changing production Zensical chrome.
